Sidwell Friends is a Quaker PK–12 day school founded in 1883, with its main campus on Wisconsin Avenue in Northwest D.C. The Quakers compete in the Mid-Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAC) for boys' sports, with maroon and gray as school colors and a fox as the spirit mark.
The baseball program is led by Head Varsity Coach Jon Mormino, who has coached at Sidwell across the 7/8, JV, and Varsity levels since 2002. In 2025, the Quakers went 14–6, won the MAC regular-season banner for the first time since 2008, and recorded their most regular-season wins since 2011 — a step-change for a program that had logged just two winning seasons in the prior decade.
